"No meet & greet at arrival area of airport. By phone call driver should be there in 10 minutes. Wasn`t there. Phoned again and driver was promised in 2 minutes. Nobody there. After another phone call another driver picked me up at parking area of the airport. The tour back was not on time. By phone I was told a red Mercedes would pick me up in 2 minutes. Another phone call I was told not red but white Mercedes to pick me up. Even the number of the car I was told. Result after entering the car was that the driver did not accept me because he was ordered for another name. The driver took of my luggage and put it on the pavement. After another call the final car and driver picked me up and drove me to the hotel."

"The driver arrived 15 minutes late, leaving me standing in the cold. When I contacted your firm for an update, I was informed that the driver was stuck in traffic. However, given the time—7:30 PM on a Sunday—and the remote location, the north of Scotland, this explanation seemed unlikely. Upon arrival, the driver did not offer an apology. Instead, he remained on a phone call while opening the boot and gestured for me to load my own luggage. Throughout the journey, he continued answering calls, creating an experience that felt more like being in a call centre than a professional taxi service. At no point did he engage in conversation or acknowledge the delay. More concerningly, the driver repeatedly exceeded the speed limit, driving well over 70mph on rural roads, which I found both reckless and unsafe. After raising my concerns with your firm and requesting a full refund, I was informed that this was not possible and was instead offered a 50% discount on a future journey. As I will not be using your service again, this offer is of no benefit to me. It is clear that customer service and safety are not priorities for your company. I strongly advise others to seek alternative transport providers, as my experience was wholly unacceptable. I expect a formal response addressing these concerns and a reconsideration of my refund request. "

"Absolutely great ontime service; we needed to be at a party, on time, so booked through Taxicode. Driver on outgoing journey, we couldn't fault, he was polite, helpful, and the car was beautiful. The return journey, by Hawk Express was just a usual taxi journey...less help, less everything, which, considering we'd paid over £20 for a 2ml journey, wasn't what we were expecting. I will use you again, but please use the same driver for each journey, and no Hawk Express..."

The person on the phone arranging the trip said he would send the number plate but didn't. The customer must be provided the number plate as getting into a car is dangerous to get into a car without knowing if it is the right one."

"Unfortunately there was confusion about where I was to find the vehicle after leaving the venue, Everyman Cinema in Northallerton. I waited outside until five minutes after the scheduled time and then phoned the number via which I received the booking confirmation. I was told the driver was waiting for me in the car park but I didn’t know where that was. I walked around the building looking for it and eventually received a call from the driver guiding me to where he was. When I got in the car I discovered he had sent me a WhatsApp message several minutes before the scheduled pick up time but I hadn’t seen it. It would be helpful if at time of booking information was provided as to how the driver will communicate at pickup time if necessary, there being so many options nowadays. I notice that there is a tip option here, however I gave the driver a cash tip before leaving the car. "

"At 11:15 I was given a 11:30 ETA. This was clearly a lie as I was later told they secured a driver at 11:30. I was not informed of the delay and was waiting for over 30 mins in the cold. At 11:45 I was told the driver would be there a few mins before 12. I got a call shortly after by the driver that his ETA was 12:06 and he'd informed the firm so I was lied to again. I had booked a 12:24 train when I was given a 11:30 ETA. I would have been happy to wait until the actual ETA but i was clearly told 11:30 so that you can secure the ride. I explained my complaints and asked to speak to a manager. I was told I would receive a call within 20 minutes, which obviously never happened. Our firm uses taxis when visiting HMP Wayland for legal visits and I will ensure no one uses this service."
